DEBATE : prO SIDE STUDENT souldn't WEAR UNIFORM

- Wearing a Uniform Limits Self-Expression
The most common argument against school uniforms is that they limit personal expression. Kids and teens use they way they dress to express themselves and to identify with certain social groups. Many students who are against school uniforms argue that they lose their self-identity when they lose their right to express themselves through fashion.

However, such mandatory policies that decide what students can or cannot wear to schools, have led to free speech violations lawsuits. Students allege such policies are unconstitutional, as they restrict their freedom of expression.

   - The Initial Cost
The website CostHelper Education reports that a full uniform outfit can cost from $25 to $200 depending on the school and retailer, with a full wardrobe of uniforms ranging from $100 to $600 for four or five mix-and-match outfits. Paying for uniforms can undermine efforts to keep education free for all

The government aims to provide free education in all public schools. This effort could be thwarted by the introduction of a uniform policy unless the government offers to also shoulder the costs of the uniforms.

This will limit the efforts of students from poor backgrounds to have access to education if their families can’t afford to buy the uniforms. The parents may struggle to be able to afford a set or two of school uniforms, especially if they have more than one child in school. The dropout rates are likely to increase as a result of this.

-   The Comfort Factor
"Students complain that uniforms are uncomfortable and they feel stifled while wearing them.” Kids are always complaining about how bad they are uncomfortable." Wearing itchy and tight clothes in class can make it difficult for a student to focus on academics." Many kids always complain at school on how uncomfortable they are. "Kids often miss school and there attendance goes crazy because of uniforms." This is important because kids need the freedom to dress the way they want to without needing to follow the uniform policy

- Discipline?
It promotes discipline but won’t discipline the students who wear them for sure because all goes back to them at the end. Its not what you wear that makes you discipline but your willingness to be discipline, obeying and following the rules.
